When Ciro was watching the 1998 Water Margin (水浒传), he was reminded of this article very strongly. In the extremely corrupt world of that novel, justice is always trumped by power, which leads to outlaws being the heroes, exactly as seen in modern China with the Chinese dissidents (中国持不同政见者).
